Description
THE ETERNITY MAN follows the extraordinary life of Andriy, an ordinary Carpathian villager swept into the violent tides of 20th-century European history.
Born in hardship and raised in the rugged mountains of Western Ukraine, Andriy’s youth is defined by his love for Teryka and the growing conflict reshaping his homeland. When Ukraine declares independence, he enlists to defend it, but war tears him from the life he knew. Wounded in battle and hunted by occupying forces, he survives alone in the Black
Forest, mastering nature, escaping captivity, and confronting the brutality of a world at war. His path crosses revolutionaries, bandits, teachers, and enemies, each encounter pushing him deeper into an epic struggle for identity, justice, and home. As the century turns, Andriy returns to fight for his village against Soviet oppression, only to witness devastating violence and face arrest. Exiled to a Siberian labor camp for nearly 60 years, he becomes a quiet legend among prisoners, surviving famine, torture, and exile with the skills and resilience forged in the mountains of his youth.
When he finally returns home as an old man, he discovers a transformed world marked by loss, sacrifice, and the passage of time. Standing once again above his Carpathian village, Andriy confronts the legacy of a life shaped by love, war, and the unbreakable endurance of the human spirit.
